The Global Respiratory Infection Partnership
An international group of healthcare professionals seeking to address global antibiotic resistance by targeting inappropriate prescribing of antimicrobials.
The Global Respiratory Infection Partnership (GRIP) recognizes the imminent onset of the post-antibiotic era and the declining numbers of new antibiotics in development. GRIP is committed to:
- Providing evidence-based advocacy and intervention for rational antibiotic use and antimicrobial stewardship
- Creating a framework for non-antibiotic treatment options for respiratory tract infections
- Facilitating a multi-stakeholder commitment to rational antibiotic use
